Lawyer for Strategic Co-employment (CBOT Seat Sub-Lease)

Remote, USA Full-time
Small nonprofit cleaning supply products manufacturing firm with incidental hedging privileges seeks business counsel for strategic co-employment partnership as it leaps from passive production for trade into trade per se. Alloyed obtained a license to engage in trade as a principal from CME Group this week after a showing of competency and now seeks a few responsible, mature, financially stable adults admitted to the bar who would not derail a membership application at the world's premier derivative clearing organization to join our nonprofit as a member. You'd be expected, along with a few other attorneys, to: • Draft and review contracts for engagements with external vendors • Facilitate negotiations with internal teammembers as contracts elapse or require modification • Attend trade compliance matters and liaise with NFA, Co. Div. Ins., IL Dept. Ins., etc. • Potentially manage litigation (lots of patent infringment trolling in the vertical) as the need arises • Assist with handling HR-type duties if we encounter internal controversies • Ensure compliance with applicable protocols for data privacy, information licensing, etc. • Confer with 3rd party independent auditor about timely tax remittance • Participate in capital formation as a co-signer (we need to obtain a nominally small sum to cover market data costs, server racks, and other ordinary/necessary operating expenses) • Manage industrial real estate acquisitions (starting next year) What you can expect from Alloyed is: • An income stream from the company's general trade account set at a fixed base rate with a variable contingent element that rewards showing up and contributing • Opportunities to receive compensation for pro bono work that you choose to do because you have concluded that it needs to be done • An opportunity to work with a company that makes a product you actually use and enjoy using • Assistance with student loan debt • A diverse, inclusive environment • Opportunities for continuing education in the finance space Should you be interested, please submit your resume and write me a quick message. We'll set up a time to discuss. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $600,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
