As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our HR functions, providing essential support across various initiatives. You will be instrumental in maintaining HR data integrity, assisting with employee onboarding, coordinating schedules, and contributing to a positive employee experience. This role requires a strong sense of discretion, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Key Responsibilities • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing correspondence. • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and timely. • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. • Support HR programs and initiatives such as employee engagement, performance management, and learning and development. • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex issues as needed. • Assist in the coordination of company-wide events and HR-related activities. • Generate HR reports and provide data analysis as requested to support decision-making. • Help facilitate offboarding processes, including exit interviews and final documentation. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Required Skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic. • Basic understanding of HR principles and best practices. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. • 1+ year of experience in an HR administrative or assistant role. • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors). • Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment. • Understanding of LinkedIn's products and mission.
