This position is responsible for the overall market success of the Endress+Hauser product portfolio within defined focus segments throughout the entire product lifecycle. Primary responsibilities include providing the highest level of product knowledge, product positioning, and marketing expertise to customers, sales teams, and channel partners to improve market share. Which tasks will you perform? • Proactively monitor, analyze, and report competitor activities. Work with marketing team to refine marketing strategy to appropriately position the sales channels for success. • Provide technical sales support for direct and representative sales channels. • Identify and analyze new market segments, technology trends, customer industry needs, and legislative changes for assigned product lines. • Provide activity cost planning and forecasting; deliver on financial budget and forecast commitments. • Support global product management in launch campaign planning through delivery of target customer lists for assigned product lines. What do we expect from you? You will have (required): • Four-year degree in computer science, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or another engineering discipline. • Travel up to 50% of the time, domestic and international • Product management or sales experience within industrial automation or related field required. • Technical competency within product lines inclusive of IO-Link, SOPAS, AppSpace, Safety Designer, and other protocols/software platforms. Market and positioning knowledge in sensor integration, programmable logic controller (PLC) programming, distributed control system (DCS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) programming, networking, database management, asset management system (AMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) integration. You may have (preferred): • Written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact from a technical perspective with individuals both inside and outside the organization. • Ablility to make complex decisions in a fast-paced environment. • Strong understanding of the business and processes to improve efficiency. Exact compensation may vary depending on the education, skills, and experience each candidate brings to the role.
