Medical Laboratory Technology (MDL) Instructors
About the position Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia's capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. This position is for part-time adjunct teaching faculty-ranked appointment. Salary is commensurate with the education and experience of the applicant. Responsibilities • Assist with the credentialing process by indicating on the application or resume whether each position held is/was a full-time or part-time position. • May be required to perform other duties as assigned. • May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor. Requirements • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent. • Phlebotomy experience is required. • Two years of related occupational experience. • Must be able to successfully pass the college's pre-employment security screening. Nice-to-haves • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science. • Teaching experience in phlebotomy. • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
