Job Summary The Integrated Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Data Integration Group (DIG) and Flight Ops Safety by analyzing data collected from various Flight Safety Programs. This part-time remote position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent data visualization skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. As a subject matter expert for all Integrated Data Collection and Analysis Tool (IDCAT) related analyses, the successful candidate will provide concise and indicative insights to drive informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly FAA reports Administer all components of the IDCAT software, including customer assistance and feedback monitoring for Flight Instructors/Evaluators during observation data entry into IDCAT Support IDCAT software-related administrative responsibilities, such as accounts and new commands assistance Download Tableau data to the Southwest Airlines server and populate current dashboards Analyze, create, and visualize data in Tableau workbooks/dashboards Categorize and group Instructor/Evaluator measured devices and feedback for assessment Support IDCAT observation form format and generate/create data collection paperwork within the software Perform regular training data analyses as defined in AC 120-54a and identify gaps in effectiveness in current Flight Ops Training Assist in, and provide review assistance for, the quarterly data examination of the Data Integration Agency (DIG) and AQP Execute and deliver data requests as needed to support the Flight Ops Training (AQP) staff Execute IDCAT Inter-Rater Reliability data assessment and facilitate IDCAT academic content Perform other activity responsibilities as directed by Employee's Leaders Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess: Intermediate analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy Broad knowledge of database management, analysis of large and complex databases, and data visualization skills (Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) Knowledge of integrating qualitative and quantitative datasets Intermediate knowledge of statistics and math concepts, with strong research abilities Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in developing presentations and strong writing, speaking, and presentation skills Excellent partnering, communication, and negotiation skills in working with various Teams and Departments Ability to resolve complex problems and perform activity responsibilities with minimal supervision Ability to regulate multiple situations and adopt new techniques and methodologies as needed to efficiently meet company objectives Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience in the airline industry, particularly in flight operations and safety Advanced knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau and Alteryx Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling techniques Education and Experience Candidates must have: A High School Diploma or GED A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Intermediate level experience in data analysis and visualization, project management, and complex dataset assessment What We Offer As a part-time Integrated Data Analyst with Southwest Airlines, you'll enjoy: A competitive hourly rate of $30-40 The privilege of flying for free on any open seat on all Southwest flights (your eligible dependents too) Up to a 9.3% 401(k) Company match, dollar for dollar, of your eligible pay, per paycheck Potential for annual ProfitSharing contribution towards retirement - when Southwest profits, you profit Company Culture and Work Environment Southwest Airlines is committed to providing a flexible and collaborative work environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and personal growth.
