Part Time Ongoing - Data Engineering & Analytics Pipeline Team

Remote, USA Full-time
About the Opportunity: We are building a foundational data capability to power data-driven decision making across our organization. We seek talented professionals across multiple roles to design, implement, and maintain robust data ingestion, preparation, and transformation pipelines. This team will be responsible for turning raw, disparate data sources into clean, reliable, and actionable datasets that fuel analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives. Successful candidates will join at a pivotal moment to architect our modern data stack and establish best practices that will scale with our growing business needs. Roles We're Hiring For Data Engineer – Pipeline Architecture: You will architect and build scalable, reliable data ingestion systems that consolidate data from diverse sources including APIs, databases, cloud storage, and third-party platforms. Your focus will be on designing fault-tolerant ETL/ELT pipelines, implementing data quality frameworks, and optimizing data flow performance. You'll establish our data infrastructure patterns using technologies like Apache Airflow, dbt, Python, and cloud data services. Data Analyst – Preparation & Quality Specialist: You will transform raw data into analysis-ready datasets through meticulous cleaning, validation, and structuring. Your expertise in data profiling, anomaly detection, and business rule implementation will ensure data reliability. You'll develop automated quality checks, create comprehensive data documentation, and work directly with stakeholders to understand domain-specific requirements. Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and data visualization for quality assessment is essential. Analytics Engineer – Transformation & Modeling: You will build the semantic layer that makes data accessible and meaningful for business users. You'll design dimensional data models, implement transformation logic using dbt or similar tools, and create curated datasets for specific business domains. Your work will bridge raw data infrastructure and consumption layers, ensuring data is consistently defined, properly aggregated, and optimized for analytical queries. Qualifications: Ideal candidates share a passion for turning messy data into reliable insights. You're proactive about automation, meticulous about data quality, and pragmatic about balancing technical excellence with business delivery. You communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders. While specific technology experience varies by role, we value foundational data skills, problem-solving ability, and a growth mindset. We offer a collaborative environment where you'll have ownership over your domain while contributing to shared standards and learning from peers across the data stack. Apply tot his job
