Key Responsibilities As a Patient Care Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include: Accurately transcribing patient profiles over the telephone, including data entry of information and possible outbound calling Obtaining medically necessary documentation and processing patient orders through our online pharmacy system Resolving tracking issues and rescheduling shipping orders for patients Troubleshooting problems based on patient input regarding the scope and/or magnitude of failure Verifying that orders are complete and accurate Performing other duties as assigned to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or GED equivalent Experience in the medical field and administrative record management A strong customer service background, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing A helpful, knowledgeable, and polite demeanor, with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment Knowledge of medical terminology and home medical equipment Experience with Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, and visual) Strong customer service skills, with a helpful, knowledgeable, and polite demeanor The ability to maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information Medical terminology and knowledge of home medical equipment Multi-tasking and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations Self-motivation, organization, time management, and deductive problem-solving skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
