As a Principal Architect - Application Cybersecurity, you'll play a pivotal role in embedding cybersecurity into the DNA of our organization, ensuring that our services, applications, and websites are designed and implemented with the highest security standards. Our Mission The primary mission of our CDR team is to keep our customers' and employees' information safe and secure. We aim to reduce business risk by implementing strong cybersecurity standards and processes. As a Principal Architect - Application Cybersecurity, you'll be instrumental in achieving this mission by validating that our applications and services meet our secure development standards. Key Responsibilities Lead Architecture Design Evaluations and Threat Modelling: Evaluate and threat model our products, including cloud and on-premises solutions, to ensure they meet security standards. Recommend and Implement Security Solutions: Suggest and implement products and services that support operational needs and security requirements. Technical Point of Contact: Serve as a technical expert for product teams, providing guidance on automation, CI/CD, and remediation. Security Best Practices and Standards: Lead the design, definition, and implementation of security best practices and standards, ensuring product development teams understand and adhere to them. Code Analysis and Vulnerability Assessment: Perform code analysis using SAST, DAST, and SCA scanning solutions, as well as manual vulnerability analysis. Continuous Improvement and Risk Prioritization: Promote and contribute to the continuous improvement of our security strategy and support risk prioritization. Education and Mentorship: Educate and mentor junior team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel. Program Management: Ensure that our security programs meet their intended purpose and metrics. What We Offer Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from $137,275 to $187,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree: Required in Computer Science, MIS, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field. Experience: Minimum of 7 years in software development and/or cybersecurity. DevOps/DevSecOps: Expert knowledge in CI/CD, IaC, PaC, CaC, and modern software development practices. Application Security: Proficiency with application testing tools (SAST, DAST, MAST, Pen Test). Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages such as C# or Java, and modern programming practices. Cloud Technologies: Proficient in cloud technologies, with AWS being a preferred skill. Communication and Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, interpersonal, collaboration, written, and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree: Or equivalent experience in a related field. Certifications: CEH, GSEC, CISM, Security+, CISSP, CISA, SSCP, CASP+, OSCP, or similar. Experience: 12 years of experience in a related field, including threat modeling, secure coding, mobile and API security, identity management, and cloud computing. Proficiency in: Application penetration testing, waterfall and agile development processes, secure SDLC frameworks, cloud security infrastructure technologies, and risk management methodologies.
