Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Processing Technician I - Heat Treat to join our Heat Treat operations team. As a Processing Technician I - Heat Treat, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and precision of heat-treated parts, adhering to company policies, procedures, and specifications. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain heat treat equipment, including furnaces, ovens, and other specialized machinery. Verify paperwork, including routers, logs, furnace charts, specifications, and furnace calibration status. Perform daily preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on heat treat equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct shear testing and other quality control checks to ensure parts meet specifications. Clean and prepare parts for heat treatment, using various cleaning processes and equipment. Understand and apply general heat treat requirements for solution treat and age of titanium and aluminum. Read and interpret product prints, using inspection gages and instruments as needed. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 1 year of experience operating machinery, preferably in a heat treat or manufacturing environment. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications 5 years of experience in heat treat operations or a related field. Ability to read and interpret product prints, using inspection gages and instruments. Knowledge of heat treat processes and procedures, including solution treat and age of titanium and aluminum. Skills and Competencies Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift/move 30 lbs. and stand for long periods of time. Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret documents.
