Procurement Operations & Sourcing Specialist

About the position Responsibilities • Have a basic understanding of Procurement operations and tasks, with ability to act as back-up for team members as needed, including PO creation and vendor management transactions within SAP; Troubleshoot and resolve procurement-related issues. • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures by driving adoption and Group KPIs across Maisons; Lead the adherence and continuous improvement of procurement policy and processes to ensure a high level of compliance with a business focused approach. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness; Support the implementation and maintenance of procurement systems and tools. • Prepare concise reports and presentations on procurement activities; Enabling data-driven decision-making by conducting data analysis and building reports that provide leadership with clear visibility into key procurement metrics, performance trends, and potential risks. • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers. • Support with spend analysis and assist in the development of sourcing strategies for specific categories; support creative, value-focused sourcing strategies in line with business needs. • Drive cost savings through competitive bidding and cost/contract negotiations. • Responsible for delivering cost savings/avoidance by leading RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and RFPs (Requests for Proposal) from beginning to end, including but not limited to briefing with stakeholders, facilitating supplier communications, scope development, proposal analysis, cost negotiations and driving vendor selection to completion. • Have a strong understanding of different types of contracts and their uses, along with common legal clauses; ability to negotiate basic commercial terms. • Support Maisons with Sourcing questions, guiding stakeholders through the process and supporting with vendor communications/business evaluations where improvement is needed. • Track market trends, supplier performance, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance sourcing strategy and partnerships. • Support the implementation of sustainability objectives and good practices in collaboration with the Sourcing team as well as internal/external experts. • Support Sr. Manager, Sourcing in any and all Procurement and sourcing initiatives. • Support with Group/HQ requests as needed. • Support with project and system implementations; tooling enhancements and project planning. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing and procurement. • Basic understanding of sourcing principles and practices. • Strong organizational and time management skills; must be a results-driven, with a strong capability to drive projects forward independently; excellent attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to report upwards in a clear and concise manner; good relationship management to drive relationships with different Maison stakeholders. • Basic project management skills; must be able to influence. • Self-motivated problem solver, with ability to adapt to ever-changing landscape and requests between different Maisons. Nice-to-haves • Experience with procurement software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Oracle) is a plus. • Must be able to be creative with existing tools, with interest to improve and bring new tools to the table for exploration.
