[Remote] Enterprise Architect – Wealth Management

They are seeking a Wealth Management Architect to lead the design and implementation of technical practices, ensuring high-quality platform assessments and delivery across projects. Responsibilities • Design and implement high-performance, scalable wealth management platforms using Java, Python, and cloud-native technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP) • Architect microservices-based solutions for portfolio analytics, client onboarding, and trading systems • Integrate FinTech APIs (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Plaid) and third-party custodial/payment systems • Ensure low-latency data processing for real-time risk assessment and rebalancing algorithms • Lead code reviews, system optimizations, and adoption of best practices (TDD, CI/CD, DevOps) • Mentor engineering teams in Java/Python frameworks (Spring Boot, Django, Pandas) and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ) • Collaborate with quant analysts and data scientists to deploy AI/ML models for personalized financial advice • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (blockchain for asset tokenization, NLP for client chatbots, robo-advisory tools) • Optimize data pipelines for client reporting, performance analytics, and regulatory disclosures • Enhance security frameworks (OAuth, encryption, Zero Trust) to protect sensitive financial data Skills • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 8+ years of progressive leadership in technology roles within the wealth management, fintech, or financial services industry • Advanced experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python • Expertise in REST-based microservices, Kafka for real-time data streaming, and Snowflake & relational databases • Master's degree • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CISSP) • Proven ability to explore and implement new technologies such as AI, machine learning, blockchain, and data analytics • Previous experience in high-growth or startup environments with adaptability to scaling demands Company Overview • We are a team of passionate software engineers and entrepreneurs.
