Role Summary: As a Senior Financial Analyst in the Provider FPA group, you will be a financial expert who helps shape how we plan, measure, and invest in our business. You will partner closely with business leaders across the Provider organization to drive financial insight and operational efficiency. This role is both strategic and hands-on: you’ll be building scalable reporting processes, surfacing key insights, and driving financial transformation as Datavant continues to grow. This position will report to the Director of FPA in the Provider business unit. Specific requirements: Strong financial modeling, reporting, and variance analysis skills. Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, large datasets). Mastery of accounting principles and US GAAP. Strong communication and collaboration skills across levels and functions. In this role you will: Build and enhance financial models for reporting, forecasting, and budgeting cycles. Consolidate and analyze KPIs across multiple data sources to deliver clear business insights. Partner with stakeholders to design and implement scalable reporting processes. Review financial reports and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership. Support month-end close with variance analysis and commentary. Conduct ad hoc analysis (e.g., headcount, OPEX, indirect costs) to support strategic decision-making. What you will bring to the table: BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or related field. 1–2 years experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or finance role at tech startup. The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job.
