About the Job We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in India. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software according to our client's quality standards, policies, and procedures. You will analyze business needs and create software solutions, prepare design documentation, and evaluate and recommend software and hardware solutions to meet user needs. Key Responsibilities Design, code, test, debug, and document software according to client's quality standards, policies, and procedures Analyze business needs and create software solutions Prepare design documentation and test data for unit, string, and parallel testing Evaluate and recommend software and hardware solutions to meet user needs Resolve customer issues with software solutions and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements Work with business and development teams to clarify requirements and ensure testability Draft, revise, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts Execute test procedures according to software requirements specifications and log defects and make recommendations to address defects Retest software corrections to ensure problems are resolved and document evolution of testing procedures for future replication Lead small to moderate budget projects and perform in project leadership role and/or supervise the activities of lower-level personnel Provide resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems and execute schedules, costs, and documentation to ensure assigned projects come to a successful conclusion Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skill set in relevant areas. The essential qualifications and skills required for this position include: Essential Qualifications Proficiency in C/C++ programming, debugging, DS, STL, Design Patterns, GTest/Test FW, and understanding of computer networking Hands-on expertise in 4G/LTE/5G preferred Working experience of eNB/gNB/CU/DU will be an added plus Basic knowledge of working with Linux systems and Linux commands Mandatory domain experience in 4G/5G RAN (Radio access network) or UE Side (User Equipment) C/C++ programming, L2/L3 wireless protocol stack Preferred Qualifications Experience in Linux Environment C++/C Developer End-to-End Project deployment till implementation Exposure to GIT, GTest, Log analysis, and debugging tools Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At VARITE India Private Limited, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth, learning, and development.
