About the Client The client is a U.S.-based digital marketing agency that helps businesses grow their online presence through data-driven strategies. Their expertise spans across paid media, SEO, content marketing, and marketing automation, supporting clients from diverse industries in achieving measurable results. About the Role The client is seeking a SEO Specialist to execute and report on comprehensive SEO efforts that drive organic traffic and improve visibility. This role is highly hands-on and reports directly to the Director of Marketing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously while delivering measurable results. Key Responsibilities SEO Strategy Conduct keyword research and mapping to improve rankings, visibility, and organic traffic. Design and execute link-building and backlink strategies to enhance domain authority. Perform audits of current and prospective client websites. Content Creation & Optimization Optimize on-page elements (meta tags, headers, content structure) according to SEO best practices. Identify and implement technical SEO improvements (page speed, mobile-friendliness, URL structure). Develop content briefs and write SEO-driven copy for blogs, service, and product pages. Quality Control Ensure SEO content is properly uploaded and compliant with best practices. Flag and resolve technical or content-related issues as needed. Reporting & Analysis Prepare and present SEO performance reports with actionable insights. Leverage analytics tools to measure effectiveness of campaigns and strategies. Stay updated on SEO trends, including LLM-driven search traffic. Requirements 3+ years of proven experience managing and optimizing SEO for service-based and eCommerce websites. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Search Console). Hands-on experience with local SEO (Google Business Profile, local listings). Excellent communication and client-facing presentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively. Upper-intermediate English proficiency. Nice to Have Previous agency experience. Familiarity with marketing automation tools. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
