Sr. Manager, IT Portfolio & Program Management
The Sr. Manager, IT Portfolio & Program Management at Michael Baker International is responsible for overseeing IT programs, coordinating project planning and execution, and ensuring delivery according to defined outcomes. This position manages a portfolio of IT projects, leads cross-functional teams, and maintains operational efficiency consistent with business objectives. Responsibilities include implementing ERP and CRM systems, supporting M&A integration projects, and working with the engineering team to deploy design technologies such as digital twins. Key Responsibilities Oversee program/project delivery: manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, communications, procurement, and resources. Collaborate with business units to align IT solutions with business needs. Optimize processes and user experience to deliver measurable business value. Plan and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget, high-quality results. Allocate resources, oversee contracts, and manage budgets effectively. Communicate program status and risks to stakeholders, including senior management. Identify and mitigate risks; track performance metrics and report progress. Coordinate activities across teams and departments for seamless execution. Manage third-party vendors to meet commitments. Resolve complex problems and manage transitions to new systems. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or equivalent experience. PMP certification preferred. Experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industry is desired. Qualifications 5-10+ years' experience, primarily managing projects/programs. 3+ years' experience in Mergers & Acquisitions. Strong project management and leadership skills. Effective communicator (written and verbal) with technical and business stakeholders. Broad knowledge of IT systems, technologies, and processes. Problem-solving ability and financial management expertise. Understanding of risk, organizational change, and supervision principles. Preferred Experience Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP implementation Experience with CRM implementations Compensation The approximate compensation range for this position $85,000 - $115,000 per year. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
