About the Role The Direct Channel Strategy and Activation (DCS&A) team is at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences through strategic marketing efforts. As a Customer Engagement Manager II, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the day-to-day management and execution of direct channel campaigns, ensuring that our marketing efforts are not only effective but also aligned with our overall business objectives. Key Responsibilities Be a subject matter expert in the tools and data DCS&A uses for activation, providing guidance and support to the team. Lead the development and execution of complex campaign flows, ensuring seamless integration across multiple channels. Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to drive campaign activations, fostering strong relationships and effective communication. Perform quality assurance checks on campaigns, identifying and resolving issues promptly to ensure smooth execution. Monitor campaign performance, analyzing data to optimize results and providing insights to stakeholders. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on our team's tools and processes, facilitating onboarding and training for new team members. Implement channel strategies that drive campaign and channel best practices, continually seeking opportunities for improvement. Participate in and lead special projects beyond campaign activation, contributing to the team's overall success. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a related field. 2+ years of direct experience in SQL, analyzing large datasets, performing queries, and validating audience segments. 5+ years of direct experience in campaign list selection processes and campaign sending capabilities. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of complex data environments, relational database ontology, structures, and querying. Experience communicating technical details and data insights to non-technical marketing partners, driving alignment through clear communication. Proven ability to work collaboratively across organizational teams, showcasing excellent interpersonal skills such as influence, negotiation, and problem-solving. Experience with large organizations and navigating ambiguity while maintaining clear independent judgment. Ability to convey technical concepts to colleagues in a non-technical manner. Strong leadership capacity to mentor and support more junior colleagues. Strategic mindset that applies relevant direct channel strategies to all work. Experience with Adobe Campaign Classic and Adobe Campaign Standard. Experience building complex marketing flows using multiple direct channels. Direct experience with Javascript, HTML, and CSS to finalize campaign sending of messages. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree or certification in a related field. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and their applications.
