Your key responsibilities will include: * Leading a team of approximately 8 analysts to deliver against a broad range of projects, applying advanced analytical and modeling techniques to understand customer lifetime value. * Defining the customer analytics roadmap and working closely with business stakeholders and other analytics teams to develop and implement solutions to optimize investments and improve profitability. * Providing powerful insights that shape the understanding of customers, their economics, and how to make investments to improve customer lifetime value. * Measuring and providing insights and solutions into how to maximize customer life-time value, and creating a customer performance forum to readout on customer KPIs. * Supporting business teams in evaluating where to make investments to optimize customer returns. * Leading and coaching a diverse team of advanced analysts, analytics managers, and business analysts to deliver insights and decisions that benefit the organization. **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a range of essential qualifications, including: * 10+ years of experience in a similar analytical role, preferably in the tech or travel industry. * Experience directly managing a team or demonstrated leadership skills in a senior-level role. * Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and strong commercial acumen. * Innovative and strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity to solutions. * Skilled in engaging with stakeholders across all levels, including VPs/SVPs, and communicating complex concepts concisely and clearly. **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, we are looking for candidates with the following preferred qualifications: * Experience in the travel industry, with a deep understanding of customer behavior and economics. * Advanced analytical and modeling skills, with the ability to apply these skills to drive business outcomes. * Demonstrated project and partner management skills, working with multiple teams across several countries. * Curiosity and a willingness to learn, with a keen desire to make a difference in everything you do. * Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to see opportunities and take initiative to advance capabilities with little guidance or request to do so. **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: * Advanced analytical and modeling skills. * Strong commercial acumen and business understanding. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Leadership and team management skills. * Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. * Curiosity and a willingness to learn. * Entrepreneurial spirit and initiative. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Director - Customer Analytics & Economics at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to drive business outcomes, lead a high-performing team, and make a significant impact on the travel industry.
