By joining our team, you'll become part of a dynamic, collaborative, and mission-driven community that values kindness, quality, and compassion. **Key Responsibilities:** * Respond to inbound text messages and occasional phone calls with warmth, clarity, and cultural humility * Listen without judgment and refer clients to appropriate food resources, ensuring they receive the support they need * Collaborate closely with a small, passionate remote team to provide seamless support to our clients * Utilize your exceptional communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients, fostering a sense of community and connection **What We're Looking For:** * **Bilingual Proficiency:** You must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written forms. * **Strong Communication Skills:** As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll need to possess exceptional communication skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and provide clear, concise support. * **Typing Speed:** A typing speed of 50+ WPM is essential for this role, ensuring you can respond promptly to client inquiries. * **Reliable Equipment and Internet:** You'll need a reliable computer, strong internet connection, and a quiet workspace to ensure seamless communication with clients. * **Experience in Customer Service:** While not mandatory, experience in customer service, hospitality, or community care is highly valued, as it demonstrates your ability to provide empathetic support in a fast-paced environment. * **Location and Availability:** You must be located in Maryland, Texas, or Georgia and available to work during Eastern Time hours.
