As a Customer Service Advisor at arenaflex, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences, working across both council premises in the beautiful south of Essex. Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Service Advisor to join our team on a part-time basis, working 30 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00. As a key member of our Customer Services team, you will be responsible for handling all contact into both councils via multiple channels, providing an excellent first point of contact for our customers. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Work effectively as part of a multi-channel customer contact service, handling a high volume of customer interactions via phone, email, and in-person Utilize Microsoft Office packages to manage customer data, update records, and generate reports Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and expertise, contributing to the development of a unified customer service approach Attend both council premises in person, as required, to meet the needs of the service and participate in team meetings and training sessions Embody a positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering high service standards, consistently striving to exceed customer expectations Essential Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will: Have strong knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Have experience of working within a team in a customer-focused environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders Have a flexible working approach, with the ability to attend both council premises in person, as and when required Have a positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering high service standards, with a passion for going the extra mile for customers Preferred Qualifications and Experience While not essential, the following qualifications and experience are desirable: Previous experience working in a local government or public sector environment Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other software applications Experience of working in a hybrid or remote work environment, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will possess: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple customer interactions A flexible and adaptable approach to working, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
