Our team is comprised of talented and dedicated individuals who are passionate about what they do, and we are seeking like-minded individuals to join our ranks. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through a variety of means, including: * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services * Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience * Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience * Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service * Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items * Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed * Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records * Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss * Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products * Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise * Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures * Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products * Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance * Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours * Basic knowledge of store systems and store equipment * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: * Six months of experience in a retail environment * Prior work experience with blithequark * Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * Ability to work independently and make sound decisions **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities * Basic knowledge of store systems and store equipment * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
