We're committed to delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers feel valued, respected, and cared for throughout their journey. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Providing friendly and personalized service to all internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience for every passenger * Working in a collaborative environment to ensure the success of our organization * Offering exceptional customer service to individuals traveling, using baggage or cargo services, by addressing their needs and resolving any issues that may arise * Handling all aspects of check-in and baggage processing using our modernized retail location system, boarding, baggage claim, reservations, and resolving related complaints and issues * Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers in a courteous and friendly manner. Handling cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets. Processing transactions, making change, and balancing daily transactions. Responsible for overage or shortage * Inspecting baggage and cargo. Answering phone calls to provide information to guests, page customers, resolve issues or complaints, and assist as needed. Handling transactions necessary to load the aircraft in an efficient and productive manner * Managing distressed customers due to oversells, delayed or cancelled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage. Resolving such issues quickly and in accordance with established company rules * Providing current and accurate information on flight schedules, reservations, flight departures/arrivals, and answering general inquiries from customers and other airport guests * Completing forms and reports as required by the organization * Writing incident and complaint reports as needed * Responsibilities may vary depending on the size and configuration of the station * Should be able to meet any physical demands listed in this job description * May perform other work assignments as directed by Supervisors **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree * Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job * Ability to read records, follow instructions, learn and understand tagging systems, rules, and regulations * Ability to work with others as part of a team, interact with the public, and work under stressful circumstances * Should be able to complete the Customer Service Representative training program with an 80% or higher average and a passing assessment period * Should be aware of potential hazards and able to handle crises on a case-by-case basis * Should be able to work under close time deadlines to achieve quick turnaround of aircraft * Should present a well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Ground Service Representative Handbook and Work Standards * Should be able to perform all job duties within a confined space * Should be able to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems effectively * Should have excellent written and oral communication skills * Should be able to communicate information and directions verbally or via radio equipment **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment * Ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities * Familiarity with airline operations and procedures **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
