We believe that our employees' success is our success, and we strive to create a work environment that promotes balance, security, and overall well-being. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for: * Responding to telephone inquiries from arenaflex members, providing information and clarification on various services, including authorizations, member billing, referrals, and eligibility. * Maintaining or exceeding quality and productivity standards, handling a minimum of 35 calls per day with matching documentation. * Anticipating members' needs, understanding their wants and needs, and identifying the level of intervention required. * Utilizing standardized processes, tools, and researching EZCAP 6X and REA/LEA Systems to resolve routine or complex issues. * Documenting all interactions in the EZCAP 6X customer service module and REA/LEA. * Providing essential information to members regarding authorizations, billing issues, eligibility, and urgent cares. * Maintaining patient confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA and PHI processes. * Accessing Interpretation language line for non-English patients as needed. * Working independently to resolve telephonic issues, handling designated assignments, and prioritizing work to maintain workflow. * Ensuring accurate and professional written and verbal communication with all levels of management and staff. * Displaying a warm and pleasant phone personality, emphasizing tact, empathy, good judgment, and patience. * Self-starting, willing to take on multiple tasks, and reviewing and interpreting health plan benefits and provider contracts. **Essential Qualifications** * Minimum two (2) years of customer service or healthcare setting experience. * Multi-line telephone experience. * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * Ability to deal responsibly with matters of a confidential nature. * Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a high-stress environment. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to read, write, and understand the English language. * Pleasant telephone manner and telephone etiquette. * Proficient in MS Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint). * Knowledge of computers, faxes, printers, and all other office equipment. * Typing 45 WPM with accuracy. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in a healthcare setting or related field. * Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and other healthcare-related terminology. * Ability to interface with customers both internal and external of arenaflex. * Strong organizational skills with emphasis on prioritizing and attention to details. * Ability to communicate effectively orally and written, answering and resolving a minimum of 35 calls per day with matching documentation. **Benefits and Compensation** arenaflex offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: * Competitive hourly rate: $20-$21 per hour (commensurate with experience). * Opportunities for career growth and advancement. * Comprehensive medical, pharmacy, and dental benefits for employees. * Vision insurance. * Zero co-payments for employed physician office visits. * Flexible Spending Account (FSA). * Employer-Paid Life Insurance. * Employee Assistance Program (EAP). * Behavioral Health Services. * 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan. * Income Protection Insurance. * Vacation Time. * Company celebrations. * Employee Assistance Program. * Employee Referral Bonus. * Tuition Reimbursement. * License Renewal CEU Cost Reimbursement Program. * Business-casual working environment. * Sick days. * Paid holidays. * Mileage. **Work Environment and Culture** arenaflex is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee satisfaction and well-being.
