Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled chat support specialist to join our team. As a chat agent, you will be responsible for answering incoming chats, consulting customers on their contact lens purchases, and providing top-notch customer service in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Answer 2-3 incoming chats using our LiveEngage platform, providing timely and effective support to our customers. Consult customers on enhancing the value of their contact lens purchase, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant products and services. Proactively communicate and engage with your manager and team members to ensure success in a virtual work environment, including one-on-one meetings, team meetings, and team chats. Provide exceptional customer service, resolving problems and addressing customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain high performance metrics, including revenue per call, quality, availability, and dependability, to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience. Great typing skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute, and technical proficiency in using computer systems and software applications. A reliable internet connection, with speeds of 20 mbps download and 10 mbps upload, or better, and a private, dedicated workspace that promotes confidentiality. A positive, driven, and solution-oriented mentality, with the ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven track record of success in a chat or call center setting. Knowledge of the vision care industry, with a understanding of contact lenses, glasses, and other related products and services. Experience with LiveEngage or similar chat platforms, with a strong understanding of how to use technology to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
