Job Overview In this exciting role, you will be responsible for assisting our Operations Research and Information Science team in building models to support various capabilities across the organization, including Revenue Management, Cargo, Customer Experience, and Tech Operations. Key Responsibilities Query airline data from multiple sources and perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns Write Python scripts and build models to predict behaviors and recommend airline actions Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide insights to inform business decisions Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support business operations Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and operations research Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Data Analysis/Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Minimum 3.0 GPA and completion of at least 2 years in a college program Python and SQL skills and knowledge Strong analytical, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Commitment to safety and security, of self and others, and individual data Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS and cloud-based technologies Experience in creating AI models and machine learning algorithms Ability to process large amounts of data and information and briefly interpret what can be learned from the data and how it can support decision-making Willingness to learn management methods and best practices in problem-solving and compromise to enable innovation and progress on challenging problems Experience with data visualization tools and techniques Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
