Job Overview We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our Data and Analysis team at arenaflex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sports data across all arenaflex platforms, including television, online, and mobile applications. This is a part-time or full-time remote opportunity, offering the flexibility to work from home and contribute to the success of our team. Key Responsibilities Guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, and intelligence of sports data disseminated by the Data and Analysis team, utilizing automated data feeds and manual data entry techniques. Work independently and collaboratively to deliver accurate, detailed breakdowns, clock-and-score, and other metrics and data in real-time, powering a wide range of arenaflex products and productions. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Data and Analysis team's role in fueling arenaflex's digital products and television productions. Review the results of your own work and that of others, performing with a consistently high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Contribute to production, operations, and initiatives across the newsroom, supporting newsroom leaders who are coordinating full-time and part-time staff. Anticipate potential issues, both short-term and long-term, and provide possible solutions, communicating rapidly and clearly with stakeholders on these issues. Play a proactive role in collaborating with stakeholders to develop or refine production processes. Be an active participant in team and department meetings, seeking and responding to feedback on individual performance. Stay informed about current office policies and procedures, adapting to changes and updates as necessary. Essential Qualifications Working knowledge of teams, players, and the rules of various sports. Full schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to quickly learn production processes that produce or maintain sports data driving arenaflex's digital and television products. Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production environments. Ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and in writing, with production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience working in sports or statistics, ideally in media. Knowledge of how sports data is used in media and for research purposes. Familiarity with arenaflex products and productions. Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office products. Experience leading or mentoring a team. Ability to speak and write Spanish. Experience using social media in a business or news environment. Preferred Education Higher education or equivalent.
