Job Summary Under minimal supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex software applications for enhancements and new products. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications for enhancements and new products Prepare and conduct systems programming tests requiring interfacing and software assessments Coach others in less senior positions and provide guidance and support as needed Develop and maintain complex software applications, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements Develop and maintain technical documentation, including flowcharts, visualizations, and diagrams Essential Qualifications The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or a related field, and a minimum of three to four years of qualifying work experience in a data generation or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may also offset the experience requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, including experience with cloud systems, source control tools, and programming languages such as Java, Spring, React JS, or Angular JS. Preferred Qualifications Experience building end-to-end solutions on cloud systems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with source control tools such as Git and expertise in using ADO Backend engineers: experience with development using Java or Spring Frontend engineers: experience with development using React JS or Angular JS Experience with database principles and writing SQL in a relational database such as MySQL or PostgreSQL Comfort working with goal-oriented teams in an Agile environment and working with user stories and recognition standards Willingness to analyze and learn new technologies, large technology stack, and figure out solutions, using deeper studies and troubleshooting Skills and Competencies The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, including programming languages, data structures, and software engineering principles.
