About the Role: Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist This exciting opportunity is part of the Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division at arenaflex. As a Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling air travel, resolving customer problems, and providing exceptional service to our clients. Key Responsibilities: Promote and sell air travel on arenaflex, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service and support Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets, using your knowledge of air travel regulations and procedures Answer inquiries regarding general travel information and resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner, demonstrating your excellent communication and problem-solving skills Communicate with customers over the phone, researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights, and providing updates on new rules, policies, and procedures that may affect them Utilize your knowledge of Native SABRE to efficiently manage customer interactions and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training, demonstrating your knowledge and understanding of the air travel industry Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of Native SABRE, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies Ability to be resourceful and creative in immediate problem resolution, demonstrating your ability to think on your feet and provide innovative solutions Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service Satisfactory attendance required, with a strong commitment to being punctual and reliable Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the air travel industry, demonstrating your understanding of customer needs and expectations Additional certifications or training in customer service, leadership, or a related field, showing your commitment to ongoing learning and development Knowledge of air travel regulations and procedures, with the ability to stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes Career Growth and Development Opportunities At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
