Our work-from-home opportunity is designed to provide flexibility and work-life balance, while still allowing you to be an integral part of our team. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include: * Contacting policyholders from our existing book of business through inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal * Reviewing and updating policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer * Counseling policyholders concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by property and casualty insurance * Making recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gaining policyholder acceptance to process the changes * Receiving and responding to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity in EPIC * Utilizing knowledge of the insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service * Providing quotes on endorsements as requested * Identifying opportunities to apply discounts, processing insurance verification forms for insured, and acting as liaison for information exchange between customer and insurance companies * Processing changes to policies within EPIC, as well as submitting changes to specific companies and following up to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner * Reviewing policy information and referencing company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims * Mailing insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, and following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer * Recognizing cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtaining quote information **What We Offer** As an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will enjoy a competitive hourly rate, depending on experience and salary zone, as well as eligibility for Annual Merit Increase.
