Key Responsibilities Offer friendly assistance to clients and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the success of our organization Provide amazing customer support to individuals seeking to use our services, handling their needs and resolving any issues that may arise Manage all aspects of customer interactions, including handling cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment Check in baggage and freight, answer phone calls, and provide information to guests, page clients, resolve issues or complaints, and assist on a case-by-case basis Handle transactions required to board the aircraft in a timely and efficient manner Manage upset clients due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, resolving issues quickly and within the guidelines laid out by the organization Provide current and accurate information to clients and other airport visitors, answering general questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Complete forms and reports as required by the organization, including composing anomaly and complaint reports as needed Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Ability to type and use a computer keyboard with adequate speed to meet the needs of the job Willingness to understand documents, follow instructions, learn and understand procedures, rules, and regulations Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful conditions Ability to sufficiently complete Customer Support Specialist training program with an 80% or greater average and a probationary period Awareness of hazardous situations and ability to handle emergencies on a case-by-case basis Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve fast turns of aircraft Ability to present a well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Ground Operations Agent Handbook and Work Agreement Ability to perform all job functions within a limited space Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems effectively Good written and oral skills Ability to communicate information and instructions verbally or through radio equipment Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the airline or travel industry Knowledge of airline operations, procedures, and regulations Ability to speak multiple languages Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
