Job Summary We're seeking experienced Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors to join our fitness team on a part-time, non-benefited basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, develop your training skills, and be part of a vibrant fitness community. The ideal candidates will be certified, enthusiastic, and dedicated to delivering high-quality fitness experiences. Key Responsibilities Personal Trainers: Demonstrate knowledge and experience in various facets of training, including 1:1 training, small group sessions, club sports training, and youth training. Create personalized programming, conduct InBody assessments, and provide expert guidance to clients. Report to the Fitness Manager and attend monthly fitness meetings. Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and best practices to continually enhance your training services. Group Fitness Instructors: Teach safe and engaging fitness classes that cater to all levels of fitness. Create a fun and inclusive environment that encourages participation and motivation. Report to the Fitness Manager and attend monthly fitness meetings. Develop and lead classes that meet the diverse needs and interests of our clients. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you'll need: A current Personal Training certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, NSCA) or Group Fitness Instructor certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, AFAA) and/or a certification in a specialty area (e.g., Cycling, Barre, Yoga, Zumba). Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for fitness and a commitment to delivering high-quality training experiences. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working with diverse client populations, including students, staff, and faculty. Knowledge of fitness trends and best practices. Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing schedules and needs. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to motivate and engage clients. A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
