About the Job The Remote Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for continuously updating arenaflex's databases by collecting information from employees within the company and customers. This will involve liaising with various stakeholders to gather data, capturing it into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner, and identifying and correcting errors. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Maintain databases by entering new and updated customer and account information in a timely and accurate manner Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, and establish entry priorities Process customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies, and resolve deficiencies using standard procedures or by returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution Enter customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures, and verify entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data Combine data from both systems when account information is incomplete, and purge files to eliminate duplication of data Test customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data, and secure information by completing database backups Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Data entry experience or related office experience Basic computer skills, with some basic computer courses preferred by some employers Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and correct errors Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Attention to detail : The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a focus on quality and precision Organizational skills : The ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines Communication skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers Technical skills : Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems Problem-solving skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and correct errors Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
