Position Overview The Staff Software Engineer position is a critical role at Workwarp, responsible for leading a team of engineers in designing, building, and deploying production-ready applications. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative team with engineers of all experience levels, working together to create, deploy, and support software applications that meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of our products, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and performant. Key Responsibilities Delivery and Execution (50%): Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications, with a deep understanding of the value they provide to customers and the business. You will take a broad view when approaching issues, using a global lens to identify opportunities for improvement and drive results, even in challenging circumstances. Learns and Grows (10%): Actively seek ways to grow and be challenged, using both formal and informal development channels. You will learn through successful and failed experiments when tackling new problems, demonstrating a growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning. You will work closely with the Product Team to ensure user stories are developer-ready, easy to understand, and testable, collaborating with other team members in agile processes and relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people. Supports and Enables (20%): Field questions from product and engineering teams, helping to grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks and leading technical discussions. You will identify gaps on the team and provide suggestions for changes to make the team more productive, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical skills, experience, and personal qualities.
