We're now looking for a highly skilled SAP IBP Solution Architect to support a critical project in the Utilities Industry, focusing on 'Fit-to-Standard' solutions as part of an SAP-enabled Extended Planning and Analytics Proof of Concept (PoC). This is a unique chance to leverage your SAP IBP expertise, utilities industry knowledge, and solution architecture skills to make a significant impact. The project is set to last 6 months, with the potential for further engagement based on performance and client needs. Key Responsibilities Lead SAP IBP solution architecture efforts, utilizing deep understanding of the Utilities Industry to inform 'Fit-to-Standard' solutions. Develop the to-be view of business processes through SAP Fit-Gap Solution workshops, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Provide expert advice on identified functional gaps, determining the most appropriate solutions to meet business needs. Configure tables and provide integrated system and design expertise in designated functional areas, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance. Leverage SAP planning experience to recommend and assess design options, driving towards the most effective and efficient solutions. Facilitate the use of implementation methodology, ensuring that project delivery is on time, within budget, and meets quality standards. Review designs for integration aspects, providing input on technical implications and ensuring that solutions are scalable and sustainable. Develop functional specifications for any required development, working closely with technical teams to ensure successful delivery. Provide recommendations on training approaches where necessary, ensuring that stakeholders are equipped to maximize the benefits of the solution. Identify and recommend solutions for functional gaps, continually assessing and improving the overall solution architecture. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: A strong background in SAP IBP, with a deep understanding of its capabilities and applications within the Utilities Industry. Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a track record of delivering complex SAP projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders at all levels. A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to assess complex business needs and develop effective solutions. Experience with SAP-enabled Extended Planning and Analytics, and a willingness to drive innovation in this space. Valid US Work Authorization, as all our jobs are US-based. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in the Utilities Industry, or a related sector, with a deep understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities. Familiarity with 'Fit-to-Standard' methodologies and experience with SAP implementation projects. Certification in SAP IBP or a related area, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to staying at the forefront of SAP technology.
