Job Summary As a Field Sales Representative covering the Google Public Sector, you will leverage existing relationships with C-level executives, develop new relationships, and act as a trusted business partner to understand company issues and goals. Your mission will be to promote products that make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile, and drive business growth opportunities in the public sector. Key Responsibilities: Build Executive Relationships: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with C-level executives in public sector customers, influencing long-term strategic direction and serving as a trusted business partner. Account Strategy: Lead account strategy to generate and develop business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google partners to optimize business results in territory and open up opportunities with large public sector customers. Customer Engagement: Understand each customer's technology footprint, strategic growth plans, business drivers, technology strategy, and engaged landscape, and use this knowledge to drive business development and achieve strategic goals. Sales Cycle Management: Discuss and manage the entire sales cycle, often presenting to C-level executives in public sector customers, and drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals. Requirements Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Sales Experience: 10 years of sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products and platforms. Cloud Computing Sales: Experience with cloud computing sales focusing on state or local government clients. Executive Engagement: Experience engaging with accounts, selling a portfolio of products at C-level. Preferred Qualifications: Strategic Partnerships: 10 years of experience building strategic business partnerships with government customers. Product Promotion: Experience promoting infrastructure software, databases, investigative tools, applications software, or cloud solutions. Partner Management: Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors. Complex Agreements: Experience with complex higher education, state and local government, and legal agreements working with procurement, legal, and business teams. Consultative Sales: Experience in a consultative sales/solution seller role. What We Offer Compensation and Benefits: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$164,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
