As a Field Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of this revolution, working closely with our Inside Sales and Application Engineers to drive awareness, sales, and support for our prospects and customers. Key Responsibilities Pipeline Development: Develop and manage your own pipeline of potential customers, identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key decision-makers. Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed quarterly and yearly sales targets, consistently demonstrating a strong solution sales background and organizational skills. Collaboration: Work closely with our Go-To Market teams, including Inside Sales and Application Engineers, to drive awareness, sales, and support for our prospects and customers. Sales Forecasting: Manage weekly sales expectations and forecasts for transactional and consultative business, ensuring accurate and up-to-date sales projections. Solution Mapping: Effectively define, communicate, and execute mapping Markforged solutions to customers' business needs, demonstrating a deep understanding of our technology and its applications. Travel: Willingness to travel up to 70% to meet with customers, prospects, and industry events. Essential Qualifications B2B Direct Sales Experience: 5+ years of B2B direct sales experience in a revenue-closing role with proven quota attainment. Communication Skills: Highly productive communication skills with business and technical individuals, including C-Suite executives. Technical Aptitude: High level of technical aptitude to become a subject matter expert in additive manufacturing and 3D printing. Team Attitude: A positive, can-do, #OneTeam attitude is a key quality to succeed on the Markforged sales team. Preferred Qualifications Technical Sales Experience: Technical sales experience of process-related products is a plus. AM and 3D Printing Knowledge: Experience and knowledge of Additive Manufacturing (AM) and 3D Printing a plus. Apple and Google Tools: Experience with Apple computers and Google collaboration tools is not required but a plus.
