Job Overview In this critical position, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers. Your attention to detail, strong data entry skills, and ability to work efficiently will ensure that we meet our client turnaround times and maintain the high standards of our services. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests into our system, ensuring adherence to established data entry guidelines and high levels of accuracy. Navigate efficiently through imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, differentiating between various claim types and following appropriate guidelines. Identify specific document types that require special handling and ensure they are processed accordingly. Collaborate with team members to ensure work is completed within designated turnaround times and support additional workflows as needed. Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations to maintain consistency and accuracy. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed and alerting management to potential issues or discrepancies. Provide recommendations for process improvements to increase efficiencies and enhance overall performance. Qualifications and Requirements To be a successful candidate for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: At least 6 months of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role, demonstrating strong data entry/typing skills and excellent attention to detail. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High degree of accuracy in data entry. Excellent attention to detail and ability to differentiate between various claim types. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support colleagues as needed. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with imaging software and data entry systems (training will be provided for our specific systems). Assessment Requirement If selected for further consideration, candidates will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment. To be considered for this position, you must achieve a minimum of 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate. This assessment will evaluate your data entry skills, speed, and accuracy, ensuring you have the necessary abilities to excel in this role.
