The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and up-to-dateness of event information on our website and internal systems. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for researching and verifying event details, standardizing event names and attributes, and coordinating with marketing managers to enhance our ticket sales operations. Key Responsibilities Research and Manage Critical Details: Accurately gather and verify event information, including date, time, location, venue configuration, and more, for a high volume of live events in the sports and entertainment industry. Standardize Event Information: Ensure consistency across all platforms by standardizing event names and attributes. Accurate Linking of Seller Listings: Accurately link seller listings to the correct venue seating and map information. Continuous Audit and Maintenance: Continuously audit event and venue information to maintain accuracy on the website. Prioritize Tasks Effectively: Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment to ensure a positive customer experience. Data Gathering and Analysis Projects: Participate in large data gathering and analysis projects related to event information. Long-term Goals: Understand the department's long-term goals and how your work impacts other teams. First 60 Days Independent Execution: Begin executing tasks independently that positively contribute to the team. Skill Development: Continue developing your skills and knowledge to advance team goals. Issue Escalation: Become more comfortable with higher-level tasks and processes related to issue escalation. Multitasking Abilities: Grow into a more independent worker with strong multitasking abilities. Event Mapping Process: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire event mapping process, including creation, support, and collaboration. What You'll Bring We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the live events industry. Here are the essential qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in business analysis, finance, computer science, or a related field preferred. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to analyze industry trends. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and comfort working with large datasets. Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Industry Interest: A strong interest in sports, entertainment events, performers, teams, and venues. Work Schedule We offer a flexible work schedule to accommodate your needs: Training: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM for the first three weeks. Training is conducted in-person and is paid. Regular Hours: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM. Days off vary by week: Sunday/Monday off Tuesday/Saturday off Thursday/Saturday off Friday/Sunday off Hybrid Model: After training, the role will transition to a hybrid model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
