To drive this vision forward, we are seeking an exceptional leader to fill the role of Senior Director II, Customer Strategic Insights and Innovation Leader. Job Overview The Senior Director II, Customer Strategic Insights and Innovation Leader will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of insights professionals to define and steward industry, customer, and consumer insights that accelerate revenue and volume growth. This role will provide thought leadership, strategic storytelling, and unlock new opportunities through insights innovations, best practices, and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the consumer and customer landscape, with the ability to drive insights to action and to shape business direction. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of seasoned insights directors to develop and deploy best-in-class insights that drive business growth and success. Provide people leadership, coaching, and development to ensure the success of the team and to drive engagement. Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, business planning, and industry leadership, to define top opportunities and to develop a robust analytics and testing agenda. Stay ahead of the competitive environment, leveraging external marketplace intelligence to inform business planning, enhance customer conversations, and set proactive direction to capture opportunities. Collaborate across the blithequark global network to ensure optimal use of resources, knowledge sharing, and expansion of insights capabilities. Set strategic guidance on critical insights and storytelling required to win business renewals and customers that drive growth for blithequark. Identify and deploy latest technologies, partnerships, and innovative approaches to ensure fast-paced and agile insights development. Key Focus Areas Strategic Thinking and Strategy Development The Senior Director II, Customer Strategic Insights and Innovation Leader will define and set the agenda for critical insights and marketplace intelligence needs of the organization. This will involve partnering in the development of the annual business plan, driving FSOP strategy and opportunities, and ensuring that the plan has a relevant FSOP strategy to win in the marketplace. Relationship Management The ideal candidate will act as a network partner, ensuring connectivity with other insights organizations and leading the way for knowledge sharing and application of growth-driving intelligence for FSOP customer partners. They will build strong team-oriented relationships with other key internal business units and/or global partners, resulting in greater opportunities for the FSOP business. People Leadership & Development The Senior Director II, Customer Strategic Insights and Innovation Leader will recruit and retain a high-performance team, serving as an advocate for future career opportunities and personal growth/development. They will set the agenda for training and capability building of the organization, enabling deeper thought leadership in customer relationships. Qualifications To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, with a preferred MBA or other graduate degree. 10+ years of experience in the CPG industry, with senior-level experience within the consumer goods/beverages industry. An innovative and collaborative mindset, comfortable with disruption and able to pivot with business changes. People leadership/management experience, specifically leading leaders of others. Customer experience in the Foodservice or CPG industry or adjacent businesses. Demonstrated success in leading geographically dispersed teams. Experience across multiple disciplines beyond FSOP management. Skills & Attributes Desired The ideal candidate will have: A strategic thinker with a holistic understanding of the consumer/customer landscape and clear application of pulling specific levers to build best-in-class thinking. Advanced analytical capability and critical thinking to probe, assess, and advise on meaningful solutions. Business planning experience and a general management mindset/holistic view of the business. Risk-taking and unafraid to disrupt the status quo, think differently, and drive new ways of working. Capabilities with customer-specific data sources and data providers, as well as internal tools, dashboards, and data sources. Drives organizational performance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
