About the Role The Strategic Network Access team at Lumen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our ranks. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for tackling complex business challenges and driving growth through the application of advanced engineering and network principles, theories, and technologies. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires collaboration with various business units to drive alignment and consensus on creating new value streams across the organization. Key Responsibilities Assist in the development of outcomes and recommendations for action plans, supported by robust data analysis and insights Drive revenue enablement and customer capture projects by leveraging network data and analytics to inform strategic decision-making Lead the development, evaluation, and implementation of new and innovative principles, processes, and applications that drive business growth and improvement Provide expert feedback, validation, and clarity to our Data Science team on the data used to support analytical outcomes, ensuring that insights are accurate and actionable Offer advice and counsel to assigned business leadership on the interpretation of operating results and trends, providing strategic recommendations for improvement Develop key business indicators and other quantifiable measurement tools to track the results of business activities and inform data-driven decision-making Create simple, yet effective output content for leadership based on complex network and business analysis, ensuring that insights are accessible and actionable Actively seek opportunities to improve customer experience, revenue capture, cost reduction, and internal efficiency, driving continuous improvement and innovation Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills.
