As a Senior Product Manager, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences that exceed customer expectations. **Job Summary** As a Senior Product Manager - Customer Experience, you'll be responsible for leading the development of products and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business partners, to identify market opportunities, develop product strategies, and drive execution. Your expertise will be essential in shaping the customer experience, ensuring that our products and services are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet the highest standards of quality. **Key Responsibilities** As a Senior Product Manager - Customer Experience, you'll be responsible for the following key areas: ### Strategy & Planning (50%) * **Empathize with and understand end-user needs**: Develop a deep understanding of our customers' needs, preferences, and pain points to inform product development. * **Translate business goals and end-user needs into product strategy**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product strategies that align with business goals and customer needs. * **Identify goals, metrics, and analytics to determine product value**: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product value and make data-driven decisions. * **Manage and groom the product backlog**: Prioritize and refine the product backlog to ensure that we're delivering the most valuable features and enhancements. * **Partner with Finance to understand financial needs and assist in the creation of business plans**: Collaborate with finance teams to develop business plans that align with product strategies and financial goals. * **Monitor research and the competitive landscape**: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market research to inform product development and ensure that our products remain best-in-class. ### Delivery & Execution (20%) * **Formulate, test, and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing**: Conduct user research and testing to validate product assumptions and inform product development. * **Document, review, and ensure that all quality and change control standards are met**: Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. * **Create, prioritize, and accept user stories**: Develop and prioritize user stories to ensure that we're delivering the most valuable features and enhancements. * **Make product decisions that drive value on a daily basis**: Use data and customer feedback to make informed product decisions that drive business value. * **Identify and consider pros, cons, issues, obstacles, dependencies, and value associated with features and enhancements**: Analyze the impact of features and enhancements on the product and business. ### People (30%) * **Foster collaboration with team members (Engineering, UX, etc.) to drive value and identify and resolve impediments**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve impediments that impact product development. * **Act as a proponent of modern software development practices**: Promote and advocate for modern software development practices, such as agile methodologies and continuous deployment. * **Advocate for the end-user and stakeholder by becoming associated with the product, empathizing with and understanding user needs**: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences to inform product development. * **Work with the product team to continuously assess progress, disseminate lessons learned, and understand next steps**: Collaborate with the product team to assess progress, share lessons learned, and plan for future development. * **Manage cross-functional team and stakeholder expectations to execute on product strategy and provide education to requestors to determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience**: Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize product development and ensure that we're delivering the most valuable features and enhancements. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * **3-6 years of relevant work experience**: Experience working as a product manager in a modern software development environment. * **Experience with modern software development product management practices and agile methodologies**: Familiarity with agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban, and modern software development practices, such as continuous deployment and DevOps. * **Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, fluid environment where priorities shift on a regular basis**: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. * **Proficiency in communicating with and influencing functional and technical team members at all levels in the organization**: Strong communication and influencing skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. * **Proficiency in working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, modern software design and development team**: Experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams. * **Proficiency in creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories**: Ability to develop and prioritize user stories to ensure that we're delivering the most valuable features and enhancements. * **Proficiency in conducting user research and testing to understand needs**: Experience conducting user research and testing to inform product development. * **Proficiency in identifying goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product value**: Ability to develop and track KPIs to measure product value. **Education** * **Bachelor's degree in a field of study related to the job**: A degree in
