Key Responsibilities Lead finance transformation and process improvement activities across the finance directorate, driving forward continuous improvement and delivering key improvements. Manage the post-implementation phase of Unit4 ERPx, embedding new processes and transitioning to a steady state. Drive best practice financial management and process efficiency, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across the Finance team. Maintain an effective financial control environment, adopting a mindset of continuous improvement to strengthen controls and operational effectiveness. Collaborate with operational teams, stakeholders, and external partners to achieve finance transformation goals. Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Finance team. Essential Qualifications and Experience To succeed in this role, you will need: A relevant financial accounting professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, ACMA, or equivalent) with post-qualification experience operating at a senior level. Proven experience of managing successful projects and working with operational teams. Experience of systems implementation and post-implementation embedding of new processes. A track record of driving continuous improvement of financial processes and promoting a culture to support this in a large organization. Experience leading teams in operating effective financial control environments. Preferred Qualifications and Experience To stand out from the crowd, you will ideally have: Experience with Unit4 ERPx or other ERP Finance Systems, particularly post-implementation. A strong understanding of financial management best practices and process efficiency. Excellent IT skills, with extensive experience using Microsoft packages.
