As a Customer Care Associate, Medicaid, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our clients. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Care Associate, Medicaid, your primary responsibilities will include: * Providing quality customer service in the KanCare Contact Center, responding to calls, emails, and other inquiries in a courteous, accurate, and concise manner * Gathering thorough documentation and entering information into various systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail * Answering questions about the eligibility process and providing general program information for Family Medical and E&D/LTC Programs * Evaluating information received through phone contact, asking appropriate follow-up questions, soliciting additional information, and evaluating potential impact * Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations, policies, and guidelines related to Medicaid and managed care programs * Completing all assigned training as necessary to ensure proficiency in our systems and processes **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: * High School diploma or GED equivalent; post-secondary education preferred * Minimum of six (6) months' experience in customer service, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences * Minimum of six (6) months' experience in Family Medical Medicaid eligibility (preferred) * Knowledge of Medicaid and managed care programs (preferred) * Bilingual Spanish/English with the ability to speak and read both languages fluently (preferred) * Strong computer skills with the ability to maneuver in complex software systems * MS Office, Outlook, and Internet usage experience * Active listening skills, with the ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters * Customer-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail * Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively * Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, including knowledge of basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation * Excellent data entry skills, with the ability to type 28-30 words per minute accurately * Willingness to work part of a team and maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all records and communications **Benefits** As a valued member of the blithequark team, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including: * In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive * Health insurance coverage * Voluntary dental and vision programs * Life and disability insurance * Retirement savings plan * Paid holidays * Paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
