Job Summary As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. You will engage with customers, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. You will also be responsible for registering sales, providing courteous and efficient checkout service, and maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment. Key Responsibilities Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including greeting customers, offering assistance, and resolving issues in a fair and friendly manner. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, and recommends items for sale to customers, including trade-up and/or companion items. Maintains a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters, shelves, and displays, and takes inventory and maintains records as required. Implements blithequark asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss, and ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise, and completes resets and revisions as directed. Assists with exterior and interior maintenance, including ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance, and provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and suggestive sell of promotional photo products. Assumes web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, and be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. You must also be able to provide excellent customer service, work effectively in a team environment, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude. Preferred Qualifications While not required, we prefer candidates with at least six months of experience in a retail environment, and prior work experience with blithequark is a plus.
