About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Analyst and Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our Global Merchant and Network Services (GM&NS) Pricing team, you will be responsible for determining and reporting merchant discount income, and driving GMS revenue and profit growth through customer-driven pricing principles, more flexible pricing architecture, and innovative pricing solutions. Key Responsibilities Create a Canada figure for merchant discount income and track monthly performance against forecast, identifying drivers of change. Develop merchant discount income scorecards for the Canada region. Drive standardization and process improvement among the different regional pricing teams for all reporting and forecasting related activities. Support external audits, including investigating issues found, contacting the regional pricing teams that manage the merchant relationship to discuss issues, and managing resolutions. Perform ad-hoc data analysis to assess discount rate trends and uncover insights. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2+ years of experience in financial services or payments industry, and/or other financial roles. A Bachelor's degree required; strongly preferred in finance/Accounting/Business. High proficiency with Excel is required. Strong attention to detail and organization. Strong analytical skills; demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models and draw value-added insights from a large amount of financial data. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SAS/SQL) is required. Excellent communication skills - both written and oral. A strong relationship with stakeholders and collaboration skills with the ability to influence others in situations where there may be multiple objectives. A strong work ethic with an extreme will-to-win, ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, which puts an emphasis on driving results. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates who: Have experience working in a remote or virtual team environment. Have a strong understanding of financial modeling and data analysis. Are proficient in multiple programming languages and data analysis tools.
