Job Overview In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud-based data storage and processing systems. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of our data assets. With a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable, efficient, and reliable data solutions. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute data storage solutions, including all layers of data architecture (ingestion, storage, serving layer) in Azure cloud. Design and develop data processing pipelines using various ETL tools for data ingestion, purification, transformation, and workflow management. Implement data security measures, including role-based access control, data masking, and encryption of sensitive information. Monitor and optimize data storage and processing systems, utilizing monitoring tools and implementing query tuning and indexing strategies. Collaborate with team members to drive agile project execution and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Lead and mentor junior team members on technical skills and best practices, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring that data engineering solutions meet business requirements and expectations. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study. A deep understanding of cloud technologies and experience in delivering large-scale projects on time. Excellent knowledge of Azure Neural Network Data Pipelines (ADF data is also desirable). Strong proficiency in PySpark, Flash SQL, T-SQL, and solid understanding of data structures. Familiarity with Azure Functions Application (coded in Python) is a plus. Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in delivering reliable project outcomes. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail. Ideally, certification in DP-203 (Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and experience will be highly regarded: Experience with data engineering in a cloud-based environment, particularly Azure. Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices. Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
