About the Role In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and product managers to document new features and update existing documentation to respond to customer feedback and internal bug reports. As a technical writing specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation that enables customers to effectively use blithequark's cloud database services. You will have access to a larger group of authors in the cloud information experience organization, with opportunities to collaborate on tools, processes, and innovations. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, write, and publish technical documentation for the cloud database service, including critical customer journeys, concepts, and guidelines for how customers do business. Work closely with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and UI partners to identify critical user journeys and create information architectures that help customers along these journeys. Collaborate with cloud database authors to continually improve practices and deliver an excellent customer experience. Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to drive and prioritize technical writing. Mentor and support other authors on the cloud databases team. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in technical communication or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of technical writing experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with databases, SQL, NoSQL, and cloud products. Experience in a related role, creating technical documentation for a technical audience, preferably for enterprise cloud services. HTML or Markdown skills; Unix environment skills. Ability to navigate ambiguity, support multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proven communication and team skills and strong initiative.
