You'll work closely with our team to ensure the precision and timeliness of data, utilizing manual and automated processes to deliver high-quality results. Your expertise in data analysis and interpretation will help us create engaging storylines and provide valuable insights to our audience. **Key Responsibilities:** * Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of sports information disseminated by arenaflex's Details and Data Gathering team * Collaborate with team members to deliver precise and detailed breakdowns, clock-and-score, and other measurements and data in real-time to power arenaflex's various products and productions * Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of arenaflex's role in fueling digital and television productions * Conduct regular quality checks on your own work and that of others, maintaining a high level of attention to detail * Contribute to the development of new projects, initiatives, and drives across the newsroom, supporting newsroom leaders in coordinating full- and part-time staff * Anticipate and address potential issues, both short-term and long-term, and communicate effectively with colleagues on these matters * Play an active role in collaborating with colleagues to refine and improve production processes * Participate in team and division meetings, actively contributing to discussions and decision-making processes * Seek and respond to feedback on personal performance, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement * Stay up-to-date with current office policies and procedures **Required Capabilities:** * Working knowledge of sports teams, players, and rules * Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Ability to quickly learn production processes that generate or maintain sports information driving arenaflex's digital and television products * Capacity to achieve a high level of content precision in time-sensitive production environments * Ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and in writing, with production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often in a fast-paced newsroom environment **Preferred Capabilities:** * 1+ years of experience in sports or data analysis, preferably in media * Understanding of how sports data is used in media and research contexts * Familiarity with arenaflex's products and productions * Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools * Experience leading or training a team * Proficiency in Spanish language (spoken and written) * Experience leveraging social media in a business or news context **Required Education:** * High school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Education:** * Bachelor's degree or equivalent **Additional Information:** * This position involves working late shifts, weekends, and holidays. * arenaflex is an equal opportunities employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
