About the Role: Remote Adjunct - Business Adjunct Faculty and Course Developer Husson University is looking for passionate and experienced individuals to join our adjunct faculty pool as a Remote Adjunct - Business Adjunct Faculty and Course Developer. This fully remote opportunity allows you to work with our online Bachelor of Science in Business and Bachelor of Science in Accounting programs, designing and teaching courses that cater to the needs of our students. Our programs are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to excel in their chosen fields, and we're committed to making a meaningful impact on their lives. Key Responsibilities: Design and teach online courses in the Bachelor of Science in Business and Bachelor of Science in Accounting programs, with concentrations in Financial Management, Management, Marketing Management, and Healthcare Management. Develop and deliver high-quality online courses that engage students and promote academic excellence. Utilize the Course Management system Canvas to teach online courses effectively. Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback to ensure student success. Maintain regular communication with students, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, incorporating relevant topics and examples into course materials. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay current with best practices in online education. Essential Qualifications: A Master's or Ph.D. in Business or a related field, with a strong academic background and relevant professional experience. Previous experience with online teaching, preferably using the Course Management system Canvas. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders. A personal commitment to providing quality online education and a passion for teaching and mentoring students. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in developing and teaching courses in areas such as Economics, Accounting, Business Law, Organizational Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management, and Healthcare Management. Familiarity with industry-specific software and technologies relevant to the field. A proven track record of teaching and developing courses that promote student engagement and academic success. Skills and Competencies: To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong subject matter expertise in Business or a related field. Excellent teaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Technical skills, including proficiency in using the Course Management system Canvas and other relevant software and technologies. Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
