Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a 30-bed Community California Children's Services certified unit. Job Summary We are seeking a Registered Nurse I to join our team at ARMC. This entry-level position is designed to prepare new nurses (with less than one year of RN experience) for their transition into the professional nursing role. The Registered Nurse I program is a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the technical and clinical skills needed to succeed in various nursing specialties, including Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, Critical Care, NICU, Emergency, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Operating Room, and Behavioral Health. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and technologies Work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes Essential Qualifications To be eligible for this position, you must possess the following: A valid Registered Nurse license with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing A current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Less than one year of RN experience (new nurses or recent graduates) Preferred Qualifications Candidates with the following qualifications will be highly competitive: A Bachelor's degree in Nursing Previous experience in a healthcare setting Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At San Bernardino County, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our employees.
